This double page spread is spilt up into 6 columns - this shows the layout follows the conventions of a typical magazine layout. The top part of the pages have all written text and at the bottom the audience we the image of the artist they have written about. We can tell this magazine is meant for teenagers around the age of 16+ as they talk about artists who use explicit lyrics containing swear words/offensive language. The magazine looks as if it's mainly targetted towards the male audience as it's to do with Hip Hop/Rap music which mainly appeals to the men. The colours they also use in this magazine double page spread are masucline as they use Black and White which are quite dull and not feminie at all, however the use of the colour Red brings the page alive so it is not too dull or boring, the use of the red font helps to attract the audiences eye. Some of the text have been boxed around, which also catches the audiences eye and makes them read the text.
